Order Fulfillment and Shipping Information
General Information:
- Order Processing: All
orders placed Monday through Thursday after 12 p.m. E.S.T. will
be processed the following day. All orders placed on Friday
or during the weekend will be processed the following Monday.
Note that the Play Service is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and
most holidays.
- Tracking: If you would
like to check the status of your shipment, please contact Customer
Service between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. E.S.T. at
212-683-8960. Presently it is not possible to track shipments
on our web site.
- Out-of-Stock: If your
order consists of a request for multiple items, one or more
of which is out of stock, there will be a notice on the enclosed
receipt of the out-of-stock items. Out-of-stock items
will not automatically be placed on backorder. If you
would like to place a backorder, please contact Customer Service
at 212-683-8960.
- Manuscripts and Other Products:
If your order consists of a mix of books and manuscripts or
other products, you will likely receive shipments from both
our warehouse and our main office. If you receive a shipment
missing a book, manuscript or other product, and there is no
notice that an item is out of stock, the rest of your order
is being shipped from another location and should arrive shortly.

Please note that shipping costs are estimated. Actual shipping
costs are based on the exact weight of your books or other materials,
plus a handling fee as follows:

Neither FedEx 2-Day nor UPS 3-Day Select is available to Canada.
Orders over 100 lbs. will not return rates in our web site shipping

United States Postal Service (USPS)
- USPS Book Rate: Orders
shipped two to three days after they are processed and should
arrive two to three weeks later.
- USPS First Class/Priority:
Orders shipped two to three days after they are processed and
should arrive seven to ten days later.
- USPS Express: Orders
shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive the
following day.
United Parcel Service (UPS)
- UPS Ground: Orders shipped
two to three days after they are processed and should arrive
five to seven days later.
- UPS 3-Day Select: Orders
shipped two to three days after they are processed and should
arrive three days later.
- UPS 2nd Day Air: Orders
shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive two
days later.
- UPS Next Day Air: Orders
shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive the
next day.
Federal Express (FedEx)
- FedEx 2-Day: Orders
shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive by
4:30 p.m. two business days later.
- FedEx Standard Overnight:
Orders shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive
by 3 p.m. the next business day.
- FedEx Priority Overnight:
Orders shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive
by 10:30 a.m. the next business day.
