Order Fulfillment and Shipping Information

General Information:

  • Order Processing: All orders placed Monday through Thursday after 12 p.m. E.S.T. will be processed the following day. All orders placed on Friday or during the weekend will be processed the following Monday. Note that the Play Service is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and most holidays. Orders valued over $200 must be sent via a UPS or FedEx shipper service, to ensure secure delivery.

  • Tracking: Tracking numbers are emailed when orders leave our warehouse for UPS and FedEx shipments only. If you have received a tracking number by email and would like to check the status of your shipment, please visit our Shipment Tracking page. Otherwise, please contact Customer Service at orders@dramatists.com or at 212-683-8960 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. E.S.T.

  • Out-of-Stock: If your order consists of a request for multiple items, one or more of which is out of stock, there will be a notice on the enclosed packing slip of the out-of-stock items. Out-of-stock items will not be placed on backorder. If you would like to place a backorder, please contact Customer Service at 212-683-8960.

  • Mixed Orders: If your order consists of a mix of acting editions and other items, such as manuscripts, perusal scores or CDs/DVDs, you will receive shipments from both our warehouse and our main office. For mixed orders, all acting editions will be sent via the shipping method indicated in your order. All other items will be sent via USPS First Class/Priority Mail or UPS Ground from our main office. You will not be charged an additional fee for the second shipment.

Neither FedEx 2-Day nor UPS 3-Day Select is available to Canada. Orders over 100 lbs. will not return rates in our website shipping application. Please contact Customer Service at 212-683-8960 for orders over 100 lbs.

United States Postal Service (USPS)

  • USPS Book Rate: Orders shipped two to three days after they are processed and should arrive two to three weeks later.
  • USPS First Class/Priority: Orders shipped two to three days after they are processed and should arrive seven to ten days later.
  • USPS Express: Orders shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive the following day.

United Parcel Service (UPS)

  • UPS Ground: Orders shipped two to three days after they are processed and should arrive five to seven days later.
  • UPS 3-Day Select: Orders shipped two to three days after they are processed and should arrive three days later.
  • UPS 2nd Day Air: Orders shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive two days later.
  • UPS Next Day Air: Orders shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive the next day.

Federal Express (FedEx)

  • FedEx 2-Day: Orders shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive by 4:30 p.m. two business days later.
  • FedEx Standard Overnight: Orders shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive by 3 p.m. the next business day.
  • FedEx Priority Overnight: Orders shipped the day after they are processed and should arrive by 10:30 a.m. the next business day.
